Official Summary (spoilers to everything prior):
Shizuma and Minato are officially a couple. But Shizuma, now a resident veterinarian, is so busy he barely has time to catch his breath, let alone go on a date. When he finally manages to find time for Minato, the universe intervenes once again, and he learns quickly that his feisty new beau is not to be ignored!
Review:
I love these guys - can I just say? Therapy Restart Vol. 1 continues the adventures of Shizuma and Minato's relationship as they have to navigate change - Shizuma has graduated and landed a job (woot). At first read Minato may come off as extremely jealous and needy (he cannot stand that Shizuma is now working with a "gaggle of women") but with context consideration, Minato's insecurity makes sense when he is the first man Shizuma has been with. If you're unfamiliar, this is a common insecurity presented to many bi and pan-sexual individuals. To Minato's point, Shizuma was initially shocked that he slept with a man, and didn't think he'd date Minato, but now he is. Minato didn't think he'd date Shizuma, and now he is, so both know how the seemingly impossible can become possible, so what's to stop Shizuma from "changing his mind" again? This is an interesting theme throughout the first volume that will continue to be explored throughout the series. There are other happy developments as well, and for fans of the other brothers' relationship, you get to see a lot more of them too!
A full series analysis coming after the fourth installment (since I don't know when this will end). If you liked all things before this sequel series, you should give this one a read for sure :).
